Disco Night at Novel
We are excited to dance to DJ tunes on Disco Night! If you like, put on your best 70's outfit and boogie on down to Novel in Newton! Encourage your church to come join the fun! Catawba FIrst Insurance is hosting this event on Wednesday, May 24th from 6:30-10:30pm. Proceeds will benefit both ECCCM and The Corner Table. Come have a blast with us! See flyer for more details. Food Pantry News & Needs |
|
Please share with your congregation that we are collecting pet food donations in honor of National Pet Month. Our clients are grateful to be able to continue to take care of their pets as they get back on their feet financially! Coming up in June the food item of the month is cereal. As always, we appreciate any and all donations, and these are just suggestions. Thank you for helping us feed our neighbors in need in Catawba County.
Please remember to register ECCCM as their charity of choice to "round up" your total on Walmart.com. Here is the link to our profile. Thank you for asking your church members to "round up for ECCCM."
Our food pantry is currently in need of recycled grocery bags, gallon zipper style bags, and afternoon volunteers. We are in great need of volunteers willing to learn to work our client food pantry door. Contact Allen Sherrill to schedule a time for your church group or individual members to come in and serve with us in the pantry. |

Thrift Store News & Needs |
|
Have some time to lend a hand? Cailee is particularly in need of afternoon volunteers. Check with your church groups, and encourage folks to come and serve with us. Please contact Cailee at 828-465-1702, extension 123 or by email to schedule a time for your church group or individuals to come and serve. She will gladly work with your schedule!
We are still in need of pants hangers if you have any to spare. Also, please continue to collect medium and large recycled shopping bags. for us. Thank you for supporting our thrift store ministry.
